Hmmmm... I wonder if Tom Hanks collects stereo equipment, too? :)

So, I heard this piece on NPR's Morning Edition today & had one immediate thought.
I wonder if Tom Hanks collects stereo equipment, too?
http://www.npr.org/2017/10/16/557636219/tom-hanks-is-obsessed-with-typewriters-so-he-wrote-a-book-about-them
The snippet Hanks reads from his book in the interview above evokes the way I feel about certain pieces of hifi equipment -- and maybe, also, the opinion of bandit James Aidee in Richard Thompson's great song 1952 Vincent Black Lightning.
I kind of admire Tom Hanks -- he really seems amazingly down-to-earth & level headed given the line of work he's in
(even if he does have a co-author/ghostwriter )

Said James, "In my opinion, there's nothing in this world
Beats a '52 Vincent and a redheaded girl.
Now Nortons and Indians and Greavses won't do.
Oh, they don't have a soul like a Vincent '52."

That's a neat little read, Doc.
For as much as I enjoy (am hooked on) technology, this makes me wax a bit nostalgic for simpler days, simpler times, before all that.I disabled signatures.
