I have the opportunity to buy a used xpa5 gen 2 for 750 with 2 yrs left on Warranty or a new xpa 5 gen 3 for 1300. Any major difference that I should go towards the gen 3 other than addition 3 yrs on Warranty and modular design?

    I have had my Emotiva amp since 09 without issue, that should answer your question..

    I would demo it, make sure it's in mint condition, and run with it..

    I never had any issues with my XPA1s. Used them almost every day for about three years before I sold them.
