Anybody heard of Polk LS f/x surrounds?
I have a pair of Polk LS f/x surrounds.
Kind of pyramid shaped.
Black wood cases, dual 5 1/2 drivers
(1per side)
dual tri-laminate tweeters,
bipole-dipole switch, gold connectors.
I can't find any specs on them at polk audio.
thanks,
-Luc

I know exactly where you are on this one. I purchased them about 6 years ago from Crutchfield to go with my RT800s and CS350. Great sound, etc. I looked at the Polk site and wonder why they are not listed. I have upgraded my fronts to SRS 1.2TLs and they do a decent job blending in with them.
Don't fully understand why they are missing from the site. I figured the LS series was the line that suited the middle level speaker buyer (a few years back). It's also interesting to note that my CS350 is now under the "vintage" section while the RT800s are also nowhere to be found. The only assumption I can make is that the RT800s I have are actually the RT800i that is noted in the "recent" section. If so, that makes another interesting note.... Why is the CS350 "vintage" while the RT800 is "recent" when they were purchased at the same time?
Hmm....Driver carries only 20 dollars in ammunition

Glad to hear someone has heard of these.
Do you remember what you paid for them?
Do you have any specs. on freq. range?
Yeah the 800's are the same as the 800i with the exception that they have black colored drivers, and supposedly the tweeter is a little brighter.
I do wish the Polk team would finish putting all the models and specs. of all their previous lineups of speakers on the site.
thanks,

I got them back in 98 from Crutchfield for 499.95 (basically full retail). Here's the specs on the instruction manual.

-3db Limits: 90Hz - 25kHz

Hope this helps.Driver carries only 20 dollars in ammunition

I got them as part of deal for a surround sound set up. They sound pretty damn good considering their size.
Bill, I may use them, I may sell them.
If I decide to sell I'll let you know.

I need one speaker grill for my LSF/X BLK's. Anybody have one I can buy from you?
