I have been without a center (or rear) channel ever since I bought the Altecs. Well today I found a speaker that will make a great center speaker. The best part besides being free is that my 36" TV will fit on top. It's a Seeburg Discoteque DDS1.

It has dual 15" woofers and a horn top end.
Make it Funky! :)

    Dude that is awesome!

Does it have a back to it or is it just open air?
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

It's got a back. I opened it as soon as I got home to check the condition of the drivers. E-frickin'-maculate. The exterior is pretty shot though.

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    What Doro said!!

FWIW, I don't think you wanna set your TV on top of it. I doubt it's shielded and electronics aren't made EARTHQUAKE resistant:D

And it's got an Altec horn at that, good find!
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
