Bob Carver coming to SoCal

Wienhart Designs in Bel Air, CA is hosting a get together and hosting Bob Carver, who will be discussing all things Audio as well as his new ALS loudspeaker design. Might be a great way to get a few SoCal polkies together. The date is October 15th at 2pm.

    Was a great time. I haven't seen Bob since we got my amps up and running. I asked him with all,his time as a designer and CEO of a few audio companies, if he ever thought we would see a day where the upper end gear would command prices of 100k and up, and what he thought of those prices. He laughed and said no, and they're nuts.

    Over two hundred people were there for this, and free food and beer on hand. Also scored my new DAC while I was there, so all in all, a great day.

    Bob is coming back to L.A. in a couple months. Thinking about trying to set up something at my place when he comes back... we can maybe call it CarverWest.
