I tried to compile a list of rock and country stars that died this year and maybe last year as well
.Leon Russell---piano,guitar,band leader,producer
.Walter Becker--Steely Dan
.Chuck Berry--guitarist,prolific song writer
.Don Williams --solo artist
.Glen Campbell--Beach Boys, guitarist, solo artist
.Alvin Lee--Ten Years After
.Chester Bennington--Linkin Park
.Greg Allman--Allman Bros Band,solo artist
.Al Jarreau--Jazz singer
.Glen Frey--Eagles
.Troy Gentry--Country artist half of Montgomery/Gentry
.Larry Coryell--Jazz guitarist

I think that's all I can think of and it's plenty. Add to the list if I did miss anyone with no disrespect intended....Lew

David Bowie and George Michael at last of '16. It always seems like there are more each year, but I imagine that comes from there actually being more stars that came to the front of public eye during those decades. Before that, a few huge stars dominated the charts, but so many more were not household names. TV had a lot to do with that rise.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable
