I was combing through YouTube yesterday and an ad came up for this thing from Brennan.
Normally I wait the lousy 5 seconds and click the Skip Ad button, but this one I actually watched for the whole 1:30.
Seems like a pretty decent way to access/save music, it supposedly can rip CDs directly to the internal HD, other options as well. For less than 5 bills a 500gb version can be had.
Opinions?

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

What does it do that one cannot do with a 'pute (and keep $500 smackers in one's pocket)?
PS The above is meant as a legitimate question, not snark. I..e., what is the value add over stuff (hard- and software) one might already have on hand?

I already run a Squeezebox Duet, fed from a networked PC; no complaints about it other than an occasional buffer issue (seems like my new router eliminated that).
This thing just looked intriguing, I might be tempted to do an A/B with it, but I do wish the price was a bit lower. So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

The USB ports are labelled "USB A", "USB B", and "USB C", but judging from their size and shape, all 3 are USB A ports.
