We're probably going to get a mess of it since it's turned and going toward Atlanta. my wife's grandparents live in Carrollton as well, 40 miles west of Atlanta which will be in an awful spot:(

All outside stuff is in, and we'll stay behind shutters and ride it out. Projected to come through here at low tide so surge HOPEFULLY won't make it into our homes.

My ex-wife and I spent our first anniversary in Beaufort back in 2008. We were on an inlet and at low tide, the water was all gone and you could see tens of millions of crabs just sitting in the mud staring at you. :#

Flying into Daytona to visit a friend in DeLand the week of the 25th. We were supposed to spend a few days in Sarasota, but I told her I don't mind doing cleanup instead. I bought my speakers, Lumin, and Denali from a dealer in Sarasota, and wanted to stop by, meet, and listen to all his gear.

My inlaws in Cape Coral are pretty nervous right now. They live pretty close to the yaht club. Seems like this thing may end up right on them. They are thinking of going to the school for shelter but they are being told it's overflowing with people already. We're praying this thing loses some steam before landfall.

Ugh, and those folks still in the keys need prayers.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

Twenty plus dead and it has yet to make landfall in Florida and millions of people forced from their homes... I agree that levity can be a good thing, but for me, when death and destruction on a massive scale are at stake, all I see are the effects this will have on others.

Don't remember bringing that up! Humm just put your big boy pants on. We, in this area are plenty serious where and when it matters! Not " off color" as your example suggusts! Actually quite insulting and way out of line! Find another soap box to stand on as you are being silly. And SILLY we don't need!

All I said throughout my posts is that I didn't care for your joke... who needs the big boy pants here? Just look at all the approving lol's your joke got. Guess I'm not the only one that missed the humor...

On another note, and back to topic, I wish you and all those in the path of this monster the very best. Stay safe.
