I sold Brian my OPPO 95, he had it awhile before he took it off my hands..

I'm over at he's house and the sound is favoriting to the left (vocals are to the left) sound is coming out of both speakers, and when I move the balance left or right everything seems normal..

When playing vinyl it sounds fantastic!!

It seems to be a setting but all is set good, now I'm thinking cables, but he just swapped them out.

I'm kind of at a loss it just don't seem like it would be the player..

Any ideas??

    No room interaction, everything we play sounds perfect, except when we use the OPPO..

    The left internal line amp is likely starting to bias then... You could verify this with a 2 channel oscilloscope and a mono sine wave input signal.

    The speaker settings were off.. LOL!!

    I never thought to look at it when I was at his house, I bring it home hook it up sure enough same issue, I start setting the speakers the same and you could here everything center up..

    Yes, it was the setting for speaker distance, one was set at 8ft and the other was set at 5ft.. I never thought to look at that while I was at his house..

    Larry let me borrow this over last Christmas break. And my last roommate had a small setup in the living room we had it hooked up to. However the amplifier was off to the side rather than in the middle. I have a feeling he adjusted for the distance and never set it back before I gave it back to Larry.

    I had the same thing happening to me on my BDP 93 awhile back. Took me awhile to cypher it out and when I did I felt a little embarrassed lol
