Subwoofer Cracking/Popping

I bought an RM6600 system thru crutchfield in 2000 or 2001. I moved to Indiana. If I want warranty service what do I do? I think it is a 100W 10" amplified sub. I can get the model# at home. What's the deal with warranty work?

Seems expensive to ship a sub back to Maryland from Indy.....
