I'm in Lititz PA, so I can ship, or if you're close...
I'm in Pottsville.......you have been warned. -
No wonder Yuengling beer is unpalatable anymore...
-
I would go with all 4 if that's ok with you.
-
Sure thing Polkster, if the one turns out bad, I'll let you know before hand.
-
Ok I was able to get it quiet, but chipped the magnet while separating the pole plate . I doubt this will have any adverse effect on the sound, but I figured you should know this ahead of time. I'll retest it in a few hours to be sure things set properly.

Winner winner chicken dinner! Now all I need to do is clean them up a bit and box 'em
-
excellent. I also have some spare parts lying around if any repairs are necessary.
-
If they survive the shipping, the only thing you should be worried about is cosmetics. Boxing for shipping will happen Friday, and I'll pm you the cost and my PayPal info.

I got back from Oktoberfest today and found my AB700's arrived from FestYBoy. I pulled my previously installed AB700's out of the wall as I noticed the new ones had Polk Audio emblems on the grills and my old ones did not and I wanted to see if they were the same models.
I couldn't believe it. My old ones are NOT AB700's, they are AB7's. I can find no record of Polk having produced an AB7. They are in most aspects identical to AB700's. Do I have something rare? And no, it's not an incurable STD. -
Pictures, there may be a mid generation change. I do hope the magnet shift repair holds up, it's a tight fit.
-
Here are a couple images of the model numbers.
-
Dragging up from the dead, wondering how things are working out with these.
-
Hi Festy.
They sound like my AB 7's so I be happy. -
The rest of my post got cut off. I was saying that I built some in wall enclosures for them and was contemplating porting the cabinets. Any thoughts on the subject?
-
Excellent. I'm glad they survived the trip.
If I'm not mistaken, those are designed to be IB speakers, so an enclosure is not ideal for that design. -
What do you think about the old models? I don't see AB7 listed anywhere.

I haven't seen anything suggesting that they are different other than the number change, but I suspect there may be a face plate revision? According to a former employee that I work with, there were 2 variants of the ABs, as he was associated with the 2nd varient. -

Good to know. I'll ditch the enclosures.

I don't mind selling it its really heavy bro and it has were you can put positive and negative and then if you put the positive on the middle connection it'll make it sound like with loud tweeters I don't know it's kind of confusing but it works really good and it sounds great let me know
