Oh my Usher's

Good evening,

It has been several weeks since my move in. I have been breaking in the Rosso's. But. I have also been busy setting up my other setups.

I set up my second audio room with the Usher 777 bookies. This actually happened several weeks ago but I wanted to test it again. I have never mentioned how much I liked my Usher's. Now. I can say without any doubt, these are the best bookies I have heard.

New place, new room, new DAC, new amp. I am supremely impressed. Skip came over with his Triode amp. The triode had enough balls for my Usher's and synergy is off the charts. I have never talked about my bookies, tonight... I am applying smiles. Amazing.

Thanks Skip.

Yes sir. About 80 pounds each. It has to go on lockdown. Things have changed since then. I would like to try some Harbeths against it. Overall sound, Usher is my favorite. Top end..Elac. Bottom end would have to be Rons Dyns.

I'm jealous of all you TX fellas and your Ushers! My little V-601s are a gateway drug but I can't afford a bit of the GOOD stuff yet

But man I'd love to make an Usher tour of all you TX fellas!

The speakers are in a 13 x 12 room and I have some sound panels temporarily setup. The music is spine tingling. The bottom end is fast and strong, though I feel at times too strong. Depends on music choice. I just want to turn things on and enjoy the music. This setup is very revealng, which makes me evaluate music more than enjoying it.

Good thing I have the Siena's downstairs. Anyhow. More experiments to do with these Ushers.

    Cheers

Sure! I also must disclose. I used to be a pretty huge fanboy of B&W speakers. The Matrix line. Then I owned the 803D's. This is history. The Ushers make the best Diamond tweeter. Period.

Ushers are amazing. It just comes down to.... What do you feel like at the end of the day. It is good to have options.

    You need a "Got Room?" T-shirt! :)
    Synergy and room are key.

    Hey hey. Power cords too!

Synergy.. I chased it for around 4 or 5 years for these Ushers. I thought it became eternal damnation. Now its magic.

80lbs...pretty large...comes with substantial matching stands. Not exactly what most consider a bookshelf speaker. Sweet looking setup though.
