Not enough wire ran...now what?!

I recently had a paver patio built and had the guy who built it run speaker wire to two locations. My plan was to buy two Omni A1 amps and control two different areas. After he buried everything I realized that he ran only one wire (a strand of pos and negative) to each location!

I wanted two speakers per location...am I stuck with one speaker in each location?

If he ran the cable in conduit, you might be able to use the wire in it now to pull a 4 conductor cable through, or maybe even two 2 conductor cables. If he direct buried the cable you are pretty much stuck with what you have now.
