    Did he not say that you can configure it to feed your cans 50 watts? Isn't that a bit excessive?

    I used to plug my Philips headphones directly into the speaker taps of my AVR with an adapter. Something that puts out 50-100 watts at 8 ohm is only going to be putting out single digits or less at the hundreds of ohms that headphones are.
