It was on there and now its not? Weird!

It's a Samsung. Have you spoken to your tv? If it doesn't respond, shoot it. Actually burn it.
-
Bummer. Must have stopped supporting it. Get a chromecast.Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

I have a Vizio. No dropout yet

Still supported on my Samsung.

Maybe YouTube just doesn't like you anymore.
-
Who knows, the funny thing is no one likes me I guess but a machine? It does really suck because I don't much use the paid stuff like Netflix and prime

If it makes you feel better, I like your avatar....
me too! but when an algorithm doesn't like you... -
This seems like an excellent time to remark that I've yet to turn on my hi fi and have it say:I'm sorry, Dave. I can't let you do that. Your turntable has suffered a fatal interface error and may no longer be used. I am sure you'll enjoy your streamed MP3s much better. There is nothing wrong with my Alpha Echo Three Five unit, Dave. Please do not attempt a repair. Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do...
(not to mention, of course, that my name isn't Dave...)

Factory reset on the TV?

Have you done the updates ? TV should prompt you when needed but you can check in the menu directly. I've noticed things get a little weird if you wait too long on the updates with smart arse TV's.HT SYSTEM-

Unplug the tv, wait about 3 min. and plug back in. You'll have to reenter your router info. Should reset things.HT SYSTEM-

I lost YouTube capability on my Panasonic Blu-Ray player 3 or 4 years ago. I think it has a lot to do with advertising revenue and such. Not that it matters, as I use UBlock when viewing YouTube. Otherwise I would go stark raving mad and throw stuff at my TV and holler at donkeys.
-
Hmmm I haven't experienced any problem with youtube on my Samsung smart tv. I use my Samsung smart phone to cast to it as it's much easier to use than the menu-remote set up on the tv.

I never autoupdate, and always check online before updating to any said revision. Rarely have I seen a firmware update that has any improvement in the TV, usually it is just APP updates. I'll wait until the app doesn't work, or I see there is some value added.
PS if you brick your TV out of warranty while it updates, that is not covered, unless the MFG released bad firmware. Even under warranty there are limitations.
Another side note to "Smart TV's" Most everything is "Smart" now so instead of needing to by a new TV for $$$$, many cheap or decent blu-ray players or alternate devices have the same capability for $ or $$. This is another reason I don't update my TV. -

It had better be the smallest saddest ever!
Actually I want my 103D to last forever. I hardly use it for video, it's reserved for SACD, DVD-A etc. Burning it up for Youtube is a crime, I hear they ain't making them anymore.
Wish I could have scored a spare Cambridge SUX while they were still available.
