Hey Folks...
I'm seeking some advice on set up for my
polk m70s hooked up to an oldie mini hi fi Sony 991AV that finally gave way.
time for a new receiver and I would love to hear your input!
The audio would mainly be world, jazz, pop, folk, singer/songwriter, funk, soul.
The room is about 10.6 ' x 18 ' (including 4 windows and approx 13 feet ceiling)
- source ranges from spotify to vinyl
- I would IDEALLY (but not required) fit the receiver in my bookshelf which is
10.5 inches deep & 14 inches wide
- I'm looking to be able to add on devices like a cd player and cassette player
- I have an Audio Technica AT- LP60 record player to plug in
- I'd like remote
- wi-fi capability/bluetooth for computer
- love ability to tinker with EQ
(floor plan attached)
right now the speakers are all the way to the right w/ exposed brick wall behind.
really appreciate your input, whaddya think?
thanks!

You are not going find much under 14" wide as the standard width for gear is 17". Try looking at some of the mini gear from Marantz or Yamaha.
Here's the Marantz, but it's deeper than your shelf.

I concur with Jesse, find a high current amp/receiver like the Marantz. The room is large enough to really open up your m70s, do you need an amp that will keep up.

You guys told me to get an amp now I hav $20,000 in gear!

Yeah... Just an amp... The rest was on you and the rabbit hole...
