While I would drive to the moon for the right pair, I am hoping to find a pair on the eastern US.

Be patient and don't overlook 1.2's.

The big ones tend to show up less frequently now than a few years ago, but I would also not hesitate to pick up a pair of 2.3TLs if I was looking for a pair of big SDAs.

Hi Emlyn, I would consider a pair of 2.3TL's as well. Just want to revisit with the 1.2TL's in stock form if I can. Then do some of the KILLER upgrades!

HI pittdogg2, I am looking specifically at the 1.2TL's because I purchased them new in 1991. It would be so fun visit with them again. I was 18 years old and I saved for two years to get them along with a Adcom GFA-565, Adcom 555 II and a Nakamichi cd player. At 20 years old, I was faced with letting them go. I have always missed them.

you're going to update the XO on them, I get what you're saying but 1.2 can be modded to 1.2TL.

SRS 1.2 with original boxes just popped up on CL for $1895 obo about an hour north of Baltimore. It looks like it could be a guy I've dealt with before and if so he's good people but im not certain its him.

Yea, they come up for sale so infrequently that when they do they normally don't last long. Especially possibly being NOS in original boxes.
