Polk Audio SDA SRS 2 Blade/Pin vs. Blade/blade

Are the differences between the two limited to drivers, age and crossover? Either one more desirable?
I have an opportunity to pick a set of Blade/Blade about a 100 miles from me tomorrow. While I have other SDA's, I have not ever heard the SRS 2's. Any opinions on where they fall in sound Quality against over floor standing SDA's?
Price is$400 in excellent shape. Which seems fair to me.
Thanks for any input.

Blade/blade is based off the SDA1b.
The pin/blade is based off the SDA1c pin blade is more desirable because it can be used with the dreadnaught for non common ground amps and monoblocs.
Blade/Blade cannot be used with dreadnaught.
Other than that both are good speakers. -
Exactly what pitdogg2 said.
If you don't have non-common-ground amplifiers, either one could be a kickass speaker.
I've had 1Bs for decades (and love 'em). Bought pin/blade SRS2 'cause I want to try out a pair of bridged monoblock amps (cannot be made common-ground) -
Thanks Gentleman. Been doing a little bit of research throughout the day...
Has anyone done a shootout against the 3.1 or 2.3's? Where do the SRS 2's rank?
I may have to pass on these if they can not run with mono blocks... -
They're all good speakers, but I'd have to say no comparison to 2.3's maybe even with 3.1
But to be fair i have not heard 3.1's
