Huge favor needed from one of my Texas brothers

I have found a 1976 Buick Riviera SR outside of Dallas. I need this car for a major project I have been planning for nearly a decade now. This car has a very rare option package I need to transplant into another vehicle.

I am wanting to bring back to life a show car from 1975, that was shown in public only once, then after the project was cancelled, the car was scrapped. It was called the 1976 Buick Roadmaster Convertible, and featured the bodywork and interior of the 1976 Park Avenue coupe, the convertible top of the 1975 LeSabre, and engine, trans, center console and bucket seats from the aforementioned Riviera SR.

They did not make more than a couple thousand Rivieras with buckets in '76, so having this car is essential to completing this car, and this is where our boys in Texas can help.

Due to wife approval factor, I need a place to keep the car out there for what could be 6 months or so until the wife will let me bring it home. I will pay for everything, including transport to bring the car to wherever it will be parked, preferably inside storage. It runs and drives well from what I have been told, so if it needs to be move, it won't be too much trouble.

Thanks in advance to anyone that might be able to help.

John

I would like to know just what business this is of yours, and why you feel the need to say anything at all in this thread...

Might I suggest that if you have a problem with me that we discuss it via PM rather than mucking up my thread.

Dont ever expect my blessing after the welcome back I received from you John.

It would have helpful if you would have simply told John who you are.

I don't NEED your blessing for anything. I did ask you to take this private and will be happy to discuss whatever your beef with me is. Your trolling is unwarranted here and has been reported.

I asked him that as I recall and never got a response...

I'm west of Ft. Worth and might be able to help as well. I have a semi-covered parking area at my house.

We guys, thanks for the offers to help, but the deal went south on the car, so plans will once again be on hold.
