    Strange question....but how long is each end of the total 2m length on each side of the network box? Is it 1m....box.....then another meter of cable at other end?

    ^^ No ^^ there is a shorter and a longer end, my S3 have about 10" on the box end, probably similar here. Insanely good price, I paid more for my S3's on closeout in the clearance store! I wish I had room for those S2 boxes!

    Thanks for the diagram....I can't believe people aren't jumping all over these excellent sounding cables at a great price from a great seller. The more I think about it....the longer cable length makes it easier to manage keeping ICs clear of power cables in the back of many rigs.

    Yep, the 2 meter length gives you an incredible amount of flexibility in setting up your system. In truth, I won't be unhappy if these don't sell at this blowout price :)

    (I paid a bit less, but these cable listed at $813 per pair when I purchased !!)

    Mine are running from my Marantz SA8005 to my Dayens Ecstacy integrated. No real critical listening to speak of yet, but I have had music playing. I sense a bit tighter bass and a little wider soundstage, but as I said no critical listening to music that I'm very familiar with, so take it with a gain of salt.

    As long as I'm typing, another shout out to inspiredsports for a great transaction. Someone needs to snag the last pair or two that are left.

    I'm quite pleased with mine (much moreso than the Mac MR7084 tuner that also arrived here yesterday) and I have noticed they are an upgrade over the S3's they replaced.
    I have a question which I did not see mentioned in the thread; are these cables brand new? They sure do look it and I really wish I had the scratch for another pair before they're gone.

    I bought them brand new directly from MIT and took as good of care as possible so they really do look like new, but they are well burned in.

    In retrospect, I wish I'd kept track of which serial number was on which component and the impedance setting, but unfortunately I didn't track that.

    I set all back to the middle impedance setting and do believe they will need a bit to burn in to each of your individual component combinations per the MIT instructions included in each box.
