DAC : Chord Chordette or Rega DAC?

Looking at getting a DAC. Two well regarded models I have been looking at are the Chord Chordette Qute and the Rega DAC. Anyone have any experience with either / both? Looking at the $500 - $700 used range.

I have only played with the Rega and, honestly, wasn't impressed. Felt my "cheap" Peachtree DACiT (not even the X model) was better."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

thanks. i have a feeling the Chord Chordette is much, much better. Trying to find one for a good price.

I have only ever heard good things about Chord in general. I would feel it is a fairly safe bet that it will be good.
