the gold bars dont have anything to do with the sub, they connect the woofer and the tweeter. ur in kind of a tricky situation because the sub in the rti100's isnt all that powerful so you dont really want to devote alot of the bass signal to them but at the same time you dont want them to be wasted.
i guess the best way to encorporate them into your HT would to use the lfe signal with the rti100's and on the 650. but then again that might not be the best way because as you turn up the volume, the rti100's will distort faster then the subwoofer will. hmm maybe thats not such a good idea lol.
another alternative would be to hook the rti100's up like regular speakers and use the lfe to the sub only, then, assuming you have bass control on the receiver, lower the crossover frequency to 60 or 40 hz. you are really going to have to try it and decide how it sounds.
sorry for the confusion but i was figuring this all out as i typed. im sure some more clear headed members will fix the mess i made. -
I vote for Airplay's alternative....sounded good to me man
RTi100's "Large" and use the LFE for the subwoofer. Use 80hz for the filter/crossover....or lower, it's up to you and your listening habits. That should sound great, but it's just a suggestion.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
