Ok, the general rule of thumb is not to go past half volume as amps tend to start clipping, although less obvious with tube amps.

Think I found the problem,the ground wire on interconnect cable inside right speaker was not soldered well and was loose SDA is great . Thanks for all the help.
PS listening to a little Floyd as I type.
