floor spikes for speakers on carpet ?
Just getting a new system set up. The new speakers have stands..... On carpet, I'd assume I should be using spikes / stands? Anyone know a good source for speaker spikes? Don't need to be super expensive, just basic.
Any other tips?

Depends on what thread your stands are, but here are a couple places to look. Pick your poison AND your price
Mainly you want something that will PIERCE the carpet and the pad down to the subfloor or concrete pad.
There are lots of options and opinions on which to get, so you make that call.

Best thing to know before ordering is whether you have metric or English threads. Looks like yours may go through the top so keep in mind there may be a need for the plate to have a washer and nut top and bottom.
