I'm hooking my amp up to a 2000 Chevy cavalier factory radio an what would cause my speakers to go in an out and it's making a high pitch sound

    Hey Ronald_93, may not be able to answer your question, but you may need to provide a little more info such as the following: 1. Make, model of amp 2. Does your factory radio have RCA/Line level outputs (if not how is the amp connected into the system). 3. Where do the speaker wires terminate/connect? Are the speakers connected to both the amp and the car's radio at the same time? 4. Can you clarify what you mean by "go in and out". Is the sound cutting out and coming back on?
