Replacing Sony 3000ES

I bought the Sony 3000ES in January, and have not had any of the problems associated with it. With the recent recalls, I contacted Crutchfield, and have recieved a shipping number so I am going to return it. Just too many issues on this reciever, and I figure I should get out when the gettings good.
Heres my question:
I'll get $1000 bucks, what should I get to replace it.
The easiest route would be to get the Denon AVR-3803 Can anyone comment on this amp?
But what else would any one reccomend
at this price,
Keep in mind I am running LSi's
Thanks

I presume you will be using it at Crutchfield, so Denon would be my choice.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

How about the NAD T763?
MSRP is around $1,400, but you should be able to find it for around $1,000 to $1,100. I like the NAD sound and it has plenty of clean power to push the LSis."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais
"For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible." - Stuart Chase
"Consistency requires you to be as ignorant today as you were a year ago." - Bernard Berenson -
So did you say that you're NOT having issues with the Sony?
If not, why get rid of it...or is it just a precaution in case anything were to happen in the future?
maybe if you like the Sony stuff you could look at one of last year's models???
if you really like the Sony sound, then a Denon may not be your best choice (There's quite a noticeable difference in sound between the two brands...) -
I agree with Shack, with LSis, you do need a capable high-current receiver. Having said that, if you are happy with the Sony 3000ES and will get your money from Crutchfields, a Denon 3805 should at least be in your consderation. My understanding is, Denon redesign the power section on this model (with a bigger and better transformer) and processing features would be top notch (MSRP $1200).I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
