Well my son graduated from High School yesterday. We showed up 2 hours early and got decent seats. I did see the place fill up quick. I didn't know how glad I was that we showed up early till the news this morning.

When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

It's a shame that most schools don't have a facility or access to one that supports their events. Glad you got to be there this milestone.

So, wait, what? People were copying tickets so their friends could go?

bring 10 people in and take their tickets out and bring 10 more in. I did see a guy with like 20 people slip the guy at the gate some cash and they just walked in.

That venue hold 10,000 people been there for a few football games and some concerts never seen it that packed.

I am just glad my son actually graduated, he had a hard time of it. He didn't get his act together till a girl he wanted to date told him she won't date him unless he had a 3.0. Amazing what a man will do for a woman.

    Holy @#$%!
698 kids in the graduating class! That is insane.

When i graduated, we had 130.

My grandfather brags about being in the top 2 of his class.....there were 3 kids.

    1090!
You Texans reproduce like overly horny rabbits.

Contraceptive hasn't made it's way west apparently?

Allen high school will graduate close to 1500 kids this year.
But it's the only high school serving the entire town.

Geographically speaking. Or anatomically speaking, I think I fixed that for you.

Our class of about 1400 had its ceremony in Kiel Auditorium.

Allen's educational structure is a joke in my eyes. Too much focus on sports and winning and not enough on the benefits of allowing more opportunities for student athletes and other extracurricular activities.

I despise most sports, especially at the high school level because it is so focused on winning. That's great but not the point of high school athletics.

My class in Arlington graduated around 700. We started with 1000.

    Participation trophy :/

Maybe next year they can have it at Qualcomm. :)

Besides that old dump has no more use now that the Chargers are up the road.

True, but who want's to go to that dump.

SW college host all the area HS graduations. That little football field is a great place to see a game or concert.
