Stoopid (707) speaker question

Regarding porting, 707's are ported 360 degrees no? What are the advantages? Most of my other speakers (Including Monitor 70 series II) are front ported and seem to be happier stuffed into a corner. Is there a podunk mod for the 360 degrees on the 707's and please discust any and all of of yur various porting experiences.

I got some old tube socks in that garage and a lot of bags of Fava beans slip slip slip. Actually, they are Mung beans. I will let yooz know how it sounds.
