pair for $250 plus shipping from 36693 to conus only and I will provide insurance. Buyer can select either Fedex or UPS. Acceptable payment methods will be personal check (clear before shipping) or Paypal.
These will only be available to members with over 100 posts for the first 2 weeks of sale and then opened to all.
I do not have the original boxes but spent several hours yesterday packing them and are good to go. They should arrive intact, see photos.
I purchased these NIB in 4.2011 and they've been in storage since acquiring the 703s in 1.2015. They look brand new (9/10) even though it's difficult to tell due the reflections in the photos. These sat atop my cabinet, hence the cork pads.
Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.

This is a great price for a great pair of speakers! A personal fav of mine.
They do need a subwoofer for the lowest octaves, but in a near field configuration with them up against the wall on a desk, I was actually quite satisfied with the bass.
These don't really even compare with the 703s. The 703s are really a replacement for the LSi9s, and there was no replacement for the 7s. I'll leave the rest to the seller...

My wife wants me to change out my LSI7's in the Master Bedroom that are Cherry for Ebony.
I might be interested.
Nice to see a good set. My local classifieds has had a few beat to death.

What's the difference in sound between these and the 703's?
Sorry for the late reply. I been taking care of some family issues.
I would concur with what rooftop59 stated and add these are 4ohm and will need something to drive them. Not sure if the x4000 has enough muscle. As for the sound, I enjoyed them when supplemented with a sub. You can search this forum and find they were highly regarded by many owners.

Are these still availaible? I am considering an upgrade to the speakers in my garage. Would I notice a difference over the pair of RTI4's that I currently have?
-
These will be available to those with less than 100 posts on the 13th and there's one ahead of you.
Ive never listened to the rti's. Thanks -

Yea, upgrade in every way. More bass, airier, more extended highs, better midrange. They will be more laid back, which makes them a bit more finicky placement wise. And the won't be as bright or exciting sounding as the RTis. But overall, a MUCH superior speaker...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

Never really considered LSi a "garage" speaker..

Keep what you have now in the garage. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact. -
The man may have the greatest garage ever made, who knows? If he wants Lsi's in the garage then I say go for it.
-
If you work out there a lot, why not if this is in your budget? And the other thing is I think he rti4s would be almost painfully bright and harsh in a garage. The LSis will be much better...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

The RTI4's are a bit bright however don't mind their sound. The LSi's are probably overkill for my needs HOWEVER I do like great sound and do spend a lot of time out there.

There ya go..........
-
I understand, they have such a nice finish, just seems different. They are hard to drive for such small speakers. You will need an amp or avr capable of 4 ohms.
-
Kudos to you, my garage is one big echo chamber. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
