Wow, this one hit me hard. Saw Audioslave a couple times, and then saw Cornell acoustic solo just last year. Still had the voice...

How appropriate Ken. Nice touch

This one is a real shame. He was such a great songwriter. And the Voice - one reviewer called it "Godzillian". Sometimes some Soundgarden is just what will cure what ails 'ya:

Maaan. Saw this this morning and been thinking about it off and on.
This one hits home a bit for me. Just tragic.
Every time I hear anything Chris Cornell it takes me back to the early/mid 90s, young and free and just stepping out on my own into adulthood. Air Force. Road trips. Parties. Everything fresh and new and scary and exciting, grunge scene and that alternative thing gaining mainstream traction. Fun times, great memories associated with this music.
Playing some Temple of the Dog.
Rest in peace, dude.Post edited by msg onI disabled signatures. -
Sad, incredible voice silenced forever.

JCP? -
Last song they did in Detroit from what the media is say was a Led Zep song "In My Time of Dying" if that's true sounds like it was well planned ahead of time.
Just so sad -
^^To perform a concert knowing that later you are going to waste yourself. This was a very troubled being. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
