Open baffle is my preference but having owned much of the Odyssey Audio line I've always wanted to try the speakers as well. A pair of these showed up for sale and were "local" enough for a drive to pick them up yesterday.

Wow...that's about all I gotta say right now...WOW!

    LOL...he's the one that helped carry this things in from the car.

    I'll have the 1 ton crane available. You supposed that it would be heretical if I screwed handles to them.
