Anybody know if PS Audio is getting out of the powercable game?
The AC-3s were on deep discount for a long time and now are gone (dang it...). I don't see a lot of AC-5s or AC-12s either so wondering if a new model is on the horizon or if they consolidated their product lines and are not making any more of the AC cables...

Good question....you would think a new line would be out by now if they were staying in the biz.

They still show as available on the PS Audio site and Audio Advisor site. They are not discounted any more though. Possibly they had the factory in Asia produce a batch that was too large a couple years ago and decided to discount for a while to reduce inventory. Or they were trying to undercut the Chinese fakes on EBay and flush them out of the market.

AudioAdvisor still has AC3's (5's &12's) but not at the 79.99 that we were buying them for a year or 2 ago...Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!!

Gotcha..... I just saw that Music Direct didn't show any more AC-3's, or AC cables in general and AudioAdvisor's prices were quite a bit higher, and at one point they were down to a single length of the AC-3....
Was wondering if the AC series was going out, or at least they were going to only make the 5's and 12's...
Looks like its not the case (whew). I really, really, like the AC-3's I have for my system and thankfully I have enough for now.... You can never really have "enough" but my HT gear that would benefit from them has them.
