Has anyone watched The Blue Man Group concert yet? It is airing on DTV ch. 103 all month long.

I watched this 2 times this past weekend. It is that good. I love the percussion and drum kits. But, the coolest thing of all has got to be that custom made PVC pipe drum tube thing.

I highly recommend this special. Crank up the subwoofer for this. There is TONS of very deep bass, all created from actual instruments, no synthesizers.

That's just stupid. You're just trying to get my goose.

You should still watch the special, the music is awesome, that's what this forum is supposed to be about.

The only problem with the DVD (or Direct TV broadcast of it in this case) is they left out an amazing song they did. White Rabbit (remake of "Go Ask Alice"). That was an amazing performance at our show in Atlanta. I wonder if it simply wasn't done for some reason there, was cut for DVD time, or maybe there was some license matter that prevented them from including it.

But still, its one of my most cherished DVD's and certinally the most amazing performance I've ever seen. Who else plays a piano with a mallet?! :D

I was completely mesmorized by the sound of that giant PVC pipe drum kit thing-a-ma-bob. When all 3 Blue Men start drumming away on that thing, it is the best.

I'm going to have to get the DVD, and both of their CD's. Amazon.com has all 3.

I own 1 of their DVDs and one CD.
My wife and I love the percussion and have demo'd my SDA-SRS2's with an 8 min. song on that Rock Concert CD I think. I need to get it back out again. It starts out slow and easy and at the end....Awsome.

My wife thought to dress up like them with our Daughter and my wifes boss for a Halloween contest one year. They WON. They played Bobba O Riley on a small boom box and had wet/dry vac hoses made into that signature formation going around 2 of their bodies. They painted their faces, wore blue shower caps and blue dish washing gloves. Sunglasses, and wore black fore all clothing, They REALLY looked just like them!!!
Making those things was kinda hard but we did it and won, that was awsome.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
