I have a 1998 Accord and I'm looking at Crutchfield. It says I cannot fit the mm6 in the front location. The stock location is 6 1/2" and it says for the db6500 that I'll have to cut the back of the back of the mount to make them fit. Well, I've read that the mm6 just sound so much better. I want them =( Well. Is there any way to get them to fit them in the factory locations without too much modification or custom enclosures?

Thanks.

you can build your own mounting rings of mdf, in order to allow more space behind the mm6's; this can make the speaker stick out beyond the door, so you would have to do some custom work. where will u put the tweeters?

Well. I'll have to check but if there are stock tweeter locations (they'd be on the dash), i dont think they'd be great so I'd probably put them in the pillars? Depends though...Custom work sucks.. oy..
