Klipsch KG-4 refresh

Picked up a pair of walnut KG-4's last week. Promptly ordered Sonic Caps for the high pass, Daytons for the low, and Bob Crites tweeter diaphragm replacements.
Set about dynamiting the plastic tweeter horns, woofers, and passives while I waited for parts. Took an hour or so yesterday and installed all the goodies. I replaced the poly switch with a .5ohm Mills. Then, I let them play on a loop all night and am listening to them now.
Holy cow, these are really quite good! The mods, particularly to the tweeters and crossovers, have really tamed down the traditional Klipsch harshness. And, yes, they do get loud. Running them with a Luxman integrated and a Rotel CD player through a CAL Gamma DAC.

I upgraded a pair for a buddy of mine. They sound way better than the stock version ever did.Political Correctness'.........defined
