Is anyone still using front heights? Has it stood the test of time or is it just another cheap gimmick? Are there any specific movies that make use of it to good results?

Heights are going the way of the dodo with the introduction of Atmos/Auro 3D/DTS-X

They become redundant in that type of environment and the spacial processing just doesn't throw as much information their way as it does the wides and overhead speakers.

Looks like I'm gonna have to re-purpose the heights for Atmos. They're in-walls so can I just use them or should the ceiling speakers be aimed toward the listener? The Polk in-walls have the aimable tweeters.
