Went for a bike ride today

Took a ride to the Shark Valley Welcome Center at Everglades National Park today...About a 2 hr drive from my house but I figured it would be worth it based on the reviews on the web. Lots of gators lounging around I saw maybe a 100 very close up. this guy was being a road hog taking up nearly 8 feet of the 10' road.

28 mile trip thru the glades in dry season... I might try it again in the summer.

    That photo was a snip from the gopro video... as i rode behind him he started to move 1 leg and then there was a turtle poking out... These gators seem tame in this park, and they are all over the place. All sizes too. So many in fact that you get over the alligator anxiety in a hurry. When I figure out how to post the vid I will. I am new to GoPro.

    OK....CALL ME CRAZY.....but, a place named "SHARK" Valley should have what ? I dunno....maybe, SHARKS !! LOL

    Should change the name to Alligator Alley if you ask me. Be careful around those things, they may seem lackadaisical, but they can move quick when they want to. Run in a zig zag man, zig and then zag. :)

    It's just a negotiating thing pal, I'm sure her lawyer instructed her to do so. She has something you want, you give her something she wants....which is usually money.

    I'd be inclined to let her have it, then buy it back once it hits craigslist.

    I hear ya bro, really says something when walking through a park filed with gators is safer than walking down the street of a major city.

    I did that ride years ago with my now, late brother in-law. We had an awesome time!

    About half way through the ride, it started to down pour for about 15 minutes. It was "refreshing"...
