Welcome to Polk's forum. When you say it doesn't turn on are you referring to the AC power?

That's certainly unusual, to say the least. If I remember correctly the 505 should have an AC fuse located in the same area as the point where the AC plug goes into the socket. If you remove the AC cord from the socket there should be a small door that has the AC fuse behind it. Sometimes you need a small slot screwdriver to pry open the small door.
