Garage speakers powered from Inside the house

Evening all,

I have a Carver A-500X amp, a Carver CT-27v pre-amp, and a pair or LS90 Polk speakers in the house for my home setup. I do not spend much time listening to music in the house as I spend most of my time in the garage working/tinkering. For tunes, I am forced to play Bluetooth from my phone over a 25 dollar walmart speaker in the garage.

My question, how can I setup a couple of nice book shelf speakers in the garage powered from my Carver setup in the house? The home system is in the downstairs den, which is probably 30 ft from where I am in the garage. I am not sure how to go about this or what type of speakers to look for that can withstand the humidity in the summer or cold in the winter.

Perhaps some sort of speaker switch to go between the LS90's in the house and my outside bookshelfers? Not sure what type of ohms or whatever or wattage.

Thanks all for any help you can give.

How bout these?

Sid

No good deals on Craigslist for in integrated and a pair of Monitor 7's or 5's ? My shop set up is an old laptop a Carver Cube a Kenwood C 1 and a pair of RTA 8's I found them all for a swell deal...How about Goodwill ? Just to be honest I would never use a speaker selector switch..Thats just me though.

Make a second rig is the path I'd also take.
