Child/Speaker encounter...not for the faint of heart

Yep, it finally happened. We had our wedding at the house and I had even made a "mental" note to throw the grills on my speakers the day before........BUT I FORGOT. A costly error that I won't ever make again.

Needless to say, as soon as (lets call him junior) Junior hit the livingroom floor....he head straight for my Athena's...AAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH.

Most of you know the rest of the story already, he preceeded to push in EVERY dust cap on ever driver (of both speakers) before his bafoon mother finally quit saying "oh, junior, that's not nice" and snatched his **** up.

Now the good news....Athena dustcaps are apparently made of polymer as well, every single dent just popped right back out as soon as junior got his crumb-snatchin' finger off of it.

Whewwwww....talk about a close call.

good to hear no harm done, Steve...otherwise junior's mom credit card need to go to BB with you for speaker replacement shopping :D
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

It's all about respect for other peoples property. I've made sure that my kids understand that a "Hands-off" policy is law, no matter where we go.

    Congrats on the Wedding!

Why in the hell are you even posting?!? I'm sure that there are other things that need your attention at this time!;)
