Remote not working

Hi Support team
Product detail :Sound bar 5000IHT
I am having the above mentioned product since 2 yrs. Recently I am facing an problem.
When I try to change the source by use of remote, it is not functioning. I am operating by sound bar front touch.
Can I get a support how to trouble shoot this issue.

Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. The first thing to consider is a new battery in the remote. Have you done this?

After the battery is checked use your smart phone camera and point the remote at the camera. Push the button on the remote and see if you can see the IR signal on the smart phone screen from the remote. That is if the remote is IR not RF. Just trying to help.
