It is the same basic tried and tested DIY type cable, just like Bluejeans, Signal Cable, etc. You can always get better, but why not check them out. Looks good to me.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Racer,
The auction you linked to in the first post is for six Canare LV-61S cables in 3.3 foot length with standard Canare RCA plugs. The "company" (probably a guy in his basement) only seems to be using Canare LV-61S and LV-77S (RG59) cables. I guess they would work fine, but you can do better. The cables used by more established DIY type companies are either Belden 1505F or Belden 89259 (as Doro said above, from Blue Jeans or Signal Cable). If you really wanted to get Canare LV-61S cables, you could get them from Blue Jeans Cable for $71.95 without bothering with bidding. I'd suggest spending a little more though and going with either 1505F or 89259 cable. The virtue of LV-61S cable seems to be its great flexibility, but its performance specs seem to be less than the other cables. I've been very pleased with 1505F cable myself and use them for everything except for a couple of balanced connections and a pair of Kimber Hero cables--I can't tell any difference between the 1505F and Kimber.

Well i decided to purchase the canare lv-61s cables and i also purchased a set of the belden 1505f cables from bluejean cables.Going to see if there is any difference between the two. Thanks for the info dorokusai, Emlyn much appreciated. It's really hard for people like me to decide on what cables to purchase with all the choices out there and not having heard alot of different styles of cables other than what you can buy in the stores, like monster, rat shack interconnects.I am currently using phoenix gold interconnects from rotel to amp, they are nice but are really delicate, you have to be so careful when you remove them.I plan on keeping those for now and using the new cables for the denon2200 multichannel interconnects. You know a guy could go really broke upgrading cables........:D*HT PRE-PRO*:Rotel rsp-1068, *AMP*:Rotel RMB 1095 *DVD PLAYER*:Denon 2200,*CD PLAYERS*,Arcam Alpha Mcd 6 disk carasel,Hughes Hdtv receiver, Hughes hdvr2,*MAINS*:Polk LSI 15'S, *CENTER*:Polk LSIC, *SIDE SURROUNDS*:Polk LSIFX,*REAR SURROUND*:Polk LSI 7'S,*SUB*:SVS PB2+*.MONITOR*:Mitsubishi ws48413 hdtv,Monsterpower hts2500X2,,Sony playstation2,Harmony sst-659 remote
