Lets try this one more time! Is there any specific common ground amps that will make these SDAs sing and sound like they should that are proven and well regarded say between $500-1000. I don't want any history lessons or brand bashings and I know everything!!! Is there anybody out there? That will handle 4ohm loads and have around 400wpc strictly for music! No mono blocks and bi amping just one nice unit that works nice...After all this is a Polk site isn't it?

There's several B&K amps that do 375 watts @ 4 ohm that you can get for under $500. Very musical amps with plenty of deeze. Reference 4420 and 200.2 come to mind.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Deeze what? -
For less than a $1,000 you can buy an Adcom 555 to send to Rick at Big Sky Audio for full upgrades and have cash left over.

I loved my B&K 200.2 with my 1cs and hoping to love it with my newly acquired 1.2tls. -
