Bass Shakers

I wanted to know if anyone has had experience with them and how great are they for hometheater experience? i saw a pair of Aura Bass shakers available for 28 bucks at partsexpress.com but also read that they need their own amplifier and the equipment can be damaged if you run it with more than 25 watts RMS per channel and also the load should be 4 ohms.. so it all amounts to probably running a seperate amplifier for bass shakers.. which again i saw at Aura's website but i couldnt find the price of the same and neither is it available at parts express. can anyone tell me where i can buy that from/or will these shakers work with my reciever which is 75 watts per channel.. Thanks for all your replies!

I've read reviews that they are pretty good for a "pseudo pants-waffling (PW)" feeling, but don't create a real PW experience (like an SVS sub would). As always, you get what you pay for.

I have the ones that are 25.00 each x 3 & a plate amp from partsexpress for 89.00 to power them, I must say that it adds to movie watching!! My HT is on concrete so the floor dont shake.so for less than 200.00 it is worth it. Also if you dont like you can ship it back within 45 days.ps the amp is 150 watts no problens yet, cant turn the volume past 9 oclock or you will be thrown off the chair!!
My HT set-up Panasonic front proj, 120 in ws screen, ATI amp,Integra 9.8 pre-pro, 2 Polk rti150, cp 1000, 4 fx 1000, Pioneer blu-ray 2 SVS sub pb 12-ultra 2, & Paragon popcorn popper. ps 3 Coaster leather HT recliners.

I usually keep two or three small hungry children under my couch for bass shakers. Works great, and they are really cheap.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Why not just put a sub inside ur couch or chair? I put one in my recliner and you couldn't so much hear the sub but you could definately feel it.
