Superbit

Going through my DVD collection and ran across my Superbit version of Desperado. I only have two titles in this format but the sound quality is A+ and picture is a B- compared to standard DVD, but still don't hold a candle to Blu Ray. Anyone else have some titles in this format?

Bad Boys 2 - it was one of my HT demos right up till blue ray. The scene on the bridge is a blast, as is the shoot out in the jamacain house.

+1 daddyjt, I had forgotten about that one. There was a Das Boot dvd released in Superbit also. What a great_ movie for those who have never seen it.

Agreed - one of the best submarine movies of all time.

It was a format that came out right before blu ray, kinda like HDCD (but nothing special needed to decode - just a DVD player). They were encoded at a 50% increased bit-rate. They also all included DTS and DD.

Ahhh...Das Boot. Nice exercise for the sub. I'm going to put that on my queue to watch soon.
