    Initial casual impression after an hour or so is S5 v1 quality, or maybe a tad better. I am using my Marilyn Manson playlist on random shuffle to exercise all drivers. Sometimes I will look up and think, "I never heard that before" for some background sound. Maybe I did, or didn't. Who knows? Anyway, they are just getting loosened up. Only 499 hours to go. LOL

    The important thing is they are good enough for a Friday night, and that is all that really matters. :)

    Everything went okay, John. I took the ramp off the first one I removed from its crate, and used it to go up the step from the garage to the dining room. Being on casters, they were easy to manage. The hardest part was getting them level after replacing the casters with spikes.

    However, it wouldn't be Friday without some type of faux pas. While packing up the original S5s we broke a speaker terminal off one. Now I have to ship them to Magico for repair, then off they go to Florida. I hope this is an easy (inexpensive) fix, at least compared to a driver replacement.

    Look-in good there Bud, what a way to spend a Friday night with new speakers! Now uncork em and really loosen em up this weekend...and do NOT go anywhere near 83!

    They will play nonstop until I leave for work Tuesday morning, and I doubt if they will even get near 60. I might be crazy, but I'm not stupid. :)
