This is my new toy that will be taking place of my beloved NAD's :D I wanted to simplify my computer rig...and check out some new gear. I have really started to like this brand recently, as I bought an A300 Integrated and T500 Tuner, for my step-dad this year. He is running a pair of Monitor 10B's with it, at 50wpc, and they sound fantastic. The 640A(zur) line is claimed to be even better, and has received some real nice reviews.

Audio Advisor - 640A

I sure hope it does, because I have sold the NAD's :)
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Let us know how "she" does after burn-in!
I was thinking of Parasound as an upgrade for the office. The Pre 850 and 750A amp down the road a little waise....
This would sure be a cheaper alternative.

    Nice looking gear!!

Who cares about what color the effin faceplate is.

If the gear does it's job, you should be enveloped in listening, not looking.

Lookin' good Mark, NEAT piece of gear.

    Cheers,

Damn you two sound like Mark and Russman...I mean...aw screw it :)

I will let you all know how she plays, and the speakers being driven are Mission MS-50...the speaker that came with the Denon Mini-Stereo combo some time ago. It's a bookshelf.

I don't care what Russ thinks, I like to look at my gear too...and silver goes back to the days when I first got into this madness...silver faceplates and blue lights...so I like it! (Doro, yours isn't ugly...I just like the silver better)

Besides this stuff is a lot like women...she doesn't necessarily have to LOOK good to BE good...but if she's a babe too...all the better!

I hooked it up last night, very pleased with the quality. I will get formal later, this is just a picture of the new setup.
