Wireless FX Transmitter

I have an open ticket, I can provide if needed. I have the Wireless FX surround speaker with the dreaded drops and popping of the speaker even when not in use. I've been reading on here and elsewhere that there is an upgraded version of the transmitter? Mine is out of warranty, but I'd be willing to purchase if available. Can anyone assist?
