Replace RM6880 Center Channel With S35?

I have an RM6880 Compact 5.1 system, but the center channel speaker is too tall for a new television. I need a lower profile speaker to avoid blocking part of the picture. Could an S35 speaker replace the speaker actually designed for this system while maintaining satisfactory performance?

The S35 will sound better than the rest of the RM6880 series. But the S35 can go right in there where you need it. You can always start to upgrade slowly around the S35.
