Kreisel -- oh, as in Miller & Kreisel (M&K) -- yeah I remember him/them
The Goliath subwoofer -- oft coupled with the iconic Visonik "David" minispeakers.
[Cliff Clavin aside]: -- although the subwoofer concept way predates M&K. Heathkit, e.g., had one in the early 1950s (SS-1B) to add on to their small (and halfway decent, actually) two-way SS-1 "bookshelf" loudspeaker.
